What is No-code and Low-code Automation?

No-code tools let you create software and workflows without writing code. Low-code tools use visual builders too, but they leave room for custom code when the built-in actions aren’t enough.

Both approaches can reduce manual work and connect the tools your team already uses. The right choice depends on the process, the people who will maintain it, and the systems it needs to connect to.

Use no-code when the workflow is clear, simple, and owned by a non-technical team. Use low-code when the workflow needs custom logic, deeper integrations, or a developer who can maintain it.

Start with one process and map what happens at each step. That will tell you more than choosing a tool from a feature list.
